Here's a shot of our "date night" on Saturday. We went curling with my work. It was a fun spiel so there were a lot of fun games to play. Here's Del lining up for a shot! Our team won and so we received a "coveted" trophy. We had lots of fun and stayed out until 10:30! It was a really good idea to stay out that late until Sunday morning when Reid woke us up at his usual 6am!
In other news, my son has been SO grumpy. He really is never like this so it's been a little hard to take. He's been crying if he doesn't get his way, doesn't want us to leave (even the room) and has also been gnawing on his fingers...which can mean only one thing. Eye teeth! Everyone has told me that those are tough and he has two very swollen buds in his mouth. Poor guy. Thankfully he's been sleeping well and his appetite is normal (well, above normal). He is now off formula and is drinking whole milk. He's also down to three bottles a day (and usually doesn't finish those). I think we'll start working on eliminating the bottle soon. It really is hard to believe how fast they move out of the baby stage!
We're heading to see Del's family later this week. This weekend we'll be back as we're going to visit with my family and my cousins who live across country. I'm very excited! I'm very excited about the break.
