Del usually gets up with him and lets me fall back asleep until around 7:45. This is much appreciated but it's not really a great sleep because Reid is running around, talking NON-STOP, and yelling outside my door that he's "waked up".
This morning was a classic. He came into our room, "hi Mommy". Crawled up on our bed. Crawled over me and laid down beside me with his nose about 4 inches away from my nose.
"Mommy sheepin (sleeping)?"
yes
"Mommy tired, wiiiiiiiight?"
yes, Mommy's tired
"Mommy want to go sheep, wiiiiiiiight?"
yes, Mommy would like to sleep. You should go and play with Daddy.
"Reid waked up, Mommy!"
yes, you are awake, now go and see Daddy
I look forward to someday sleeping in but do realize we're MANY years away from that luxury.

When he's 15 (and you've lost the ability to sleep in thanks to your kidlets), you need to wake up every Saturday at 6 am to mow the lawn or shovel the drive.
